It’s May, and you all know what that means!

Today marks the release of the 0.23.1 Public Update, which adds Day 11 and a good half of Day 12 to the game. Both of these days are extremely lengthy, and this update is by far the biggest we’ve ever released… that is, until we release this month’s Patreon build, which is bigger again! Of course, that’s also part of the reason it’s running behind… oops!

In terms of content, this update adds a considerable amount of new stuff. There’s a total of 5 new unique backgrounds with a total of 12 variants, a brand new CG, a number of small additions to spites such as a new outfit for Russell and a pair of sweet black shades for Tai, as well as a ton of other small additions…

Ah, but of course, what you’re all really after is the new animated sex scene, huh? Yes, you heard right. It’s animated. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s absolutely bananas.

Of course, running an animated sequence like this is something that lower-end systems tend to have a bit of a hard time with. With this in mind, there’s a new option in the Settings menu which will allow you to disable these animated scenes if your device has a hard time making them work. You’ll still be able to view the scene, but you’ll receive stills instead.

This is an amazing update, and we’re really excited to see what you all think of it!

As for Patreon this month, the upcoming build is such a ridiculous and unwieldy monster of a thing that it needs a few extra days in the oven. Thankfully, there isn’t far to go now and it’s really shaping up to be quite magnificent indeed! It will include the end of Day 12, Day 13 and about three-quarters of Day 14. Alongside this will be a new character, several new CG’s, the long-awaited reintroduction of everyone’s favorite polar bear, more nudity than you can shake a stick at, and plot. Plot Plot Plot. Lot’s of plot. Shit’s about to get real.
