What a mysterious and intensely cropped image! What could it possibly mean?!

Howdy everyone! Welcome to a new month, and as with every new month, we come bearing gifts! 

The 0.27 Public release has just been pushed for all platforms. This is the first time we've issued an update as a patch via Itch.io's command line tools, so be sure to let us know if anything weird happens. All going well, a notably smaller patch (I think it was like 50MB? I already forgot...) should be rolling out via the Itch App as we speak, and the new 0.27 versions are available for standalone download on the our Itch page as well. All going well everything worked as intended! Also, good news! It seemed to diff the update for Linux as well, so we'd love to hear back from our Linux players whether or not it's working as intended!

This update brings with it loads of new goodies including a swathe of new backgrounds, many to replace existing photo backgrounds with a couple more that are brand new, further improvements for future compatibility of save files, some minor tweaks for consistency and to utilize the new BG's more efficiently...

...and a surprise! Those who played the last update will no doubt be curious to see how things panned out after the cliffhanger ending... now it's time to find out! I won't spoil it for you, but we certainly expect some mixed feelings... alongside some very, very happy fans of a certain side character!

This month's Patreon update is still on the way and boy, is it shaping up to be a real doozy! This one has a surprise too, although, a quite different one to the last. It's gonna be very very cool and it's shaping up great, but it needs a little more time in the oven to get everything just so! Bear with us on this one, and we'll have this update available to our Patrons soon!

• Concludes Day 14, Adds Part of Day 15.
• Top Secret! You'll just have to find out what this is! But you'll probably like it!
• 1 New CG (2 Variants, 24 Images)
• 4 New Drawn Backgrounds (Total of 11 images including variants)
• Minor changes on Day 15 (when compared with 0.26) for consistency with later content.
• Allows the save game system to store the channel (IE: Patreon, Public) the file was saved with and will not load Patreon save files created with the save version number on the Public Release to avoid crashing for absent content.
• Minor background usage changes to utilize the new renderered BGs. Straight swaps, except for Diego Day 14 where Tai finds Kyrex by the riverside - this now uses the night time version of the Waterfront BG.

Edit: Pushed a hotfix build 2701 which updates the credits screen with last months $15 patrons, something I forgot to do. This replaces the existing file and is now live for everyone, and the update is an 8-12MB patch which the Itch App can fetch for you.
