Rather than returning to Eric bcuz ugh Eric, I would have taken my love bite and love juice to the police for a rape kit. I would explain that I approached Glenn bcuz I was a fan and that after chatting I agreed to some oral. Then I'd switch the tale a little saying he recorded me and blackmailed me to force me into letting him abuse me. I'd admit fault for getting into the situation and tell them I'd only press charges if the video was released. Can't say for sure if I'd warn Glenn or not. On one hand I could let him know that he just gave free mind blowing sex without consequence or I could keep quiet and make him suffer for thinking he's smarter than me. Fuck it he's going to jail since I'm sure the vid will get me even more dick😜. What? Told y'all I was whoreable.
Everyone's gonna hate me for bringing it up again, but I'd greatly appreciate an official confirmation one way or the other to prevent future debates and help in understanding. As written, was Diego's ex actually abusive or not? And is that aspect no longer canon/would change in a potential rewrite? Was the ex clear about his intentions then like he is now? Or is he clear about his intentions in the present after learning he needed to be, not being clear at the time due to thinking it was self explanatory?
It was more of a major miscommunications that led to a toxic situation, both are equally at fault, and both didn't properly handle the situation correctly SPOILERS!!!!!!!! For those who haven't read the story:
From the Diego standpoint Kyrex was very much verbally abusive ,However From the Kyrex standpoint Diego was a stalker who kept harassing him and wouldn't leave him alone also kinda manipulative as kyrexs lost his job thanks to Diego's connection to Tai who is in turn linked to Lukas (Kyrex's employor). All of it is just so messy, as Jay said "Sometimes people just aren't meant to be together" Everyone shares fault
I'm not saying that Diego doesn't hold a share of the blame, but the idea that the fault is equal doesn't sit right by me if that aspect of Diego's testimony is accurate. Most of the people in the server believe the alleged abuse didn't even happen. That people see Diego as equally or even more at fault comes off as victim blaming and justifying abuse to me.
That's a fair point,even though Diego's Testimony had glaring holes in it The fact that Kyrex was said hurtful things tips the scales,most would agree that where he went too far. Going off my personal opinion and experiences I sympathize with both for different reasons,which is why I don't fault Kyrex as harshly as some do. Sometimes communications don't come across as it should and sometimes it does but we ignore the signs.
It can and likely will be adjusted in future rewrites. As for whether he was abusive or not, intent doesn't change that. Kyrex was abusive, even if that was not his specific intent. He got in over his head, failed to communicate and acted out more and more the worse things got. Diego was as much as fault as he was, though he acted in different ways. They were both wrong, and that doesn't excuse either of them.
Honestly im happy with this update but i was having way to high hopes in this update for adrian to be toped by someone. Lol idk i just see him way more as a bottom and tai as a top since he do be having a beautiful tool. But i am very very interested as to who will be bottoming the next update wink wink. Ok honestly, what the actual f*** happened to Tai’s route.
It seemed normal at first and nothing was too crazy so I thought it would be well written and consistent like Diego’s route.
However, then Tai and Adrian break up (Twice!!). These break ups turn the story into a whiny soap opera mess and create too many low points that even I just wanted their relationship to end. Then, Adrian has sex with a random guy. The story tries to use lore and world building as an excuse for this and the breakups.
There are way too many plot threads that it gets to a point where the “Tai romance” route becomes the “Spencer world building, Dom+Russell+Axel romance counseling, Jay’s trauma and BS with Tai romance on the side” route.
If that wasn’t bad enough, half-way through “Gentleman” Tai begins to not give a crap about anyone’s sexual privacy, reveals he’s been banging Lukas for awhile, and openly talks about wanting to see another man’s junk right in front of Adrian.
Tai becomes basically unrecognizable, to the point where he wants a damn threesome in the newest update.
It’s a shame. With Diego’s route this vn became one of my favorites because of how well written and honest it felt. Tai’s route took all that goodwill and threw it in the shredder for the sake of CW level nonsense and drama.
tbh as much as I love this game and xevvy, i cant say i disagree with you. The longer this route went on, the less I feel connected with Tai. I just feel like the Tai and Adrian relationship is far from concrete since too many things happened at once (break ups, Apollo, Jay and Glenn, Logan, a bunch of sex and the blackmail this update) to the point that I question if they truly love each other. I hope there would be more boyfriend time for Tai and Adrian but as it seems Logan is getting thrown into the mix. I agree with u when saying that this felt very messy and the twists and turns of this vn is nothing short of... adventurous.

Even though i usually like these kinds of things i do see youre point and agree. I think FBTW is somewhat an opposite example where the community has been begging for a scene with ranok and vulgor and all the other hot wolfmen daddy's (IM CRINGING CALLING THEM DADDY'S). But i honestly like the game the way its going ranok feels a lot more genuine even more so than Amicus from adastra which i liked amicus a lot but im starting to like ranok a lot quicker than i expected. I think after next update which im 100% there will be a thresome they should really stop and make tai feel more genuine of a character. Still im not complaining but i do see your point of view

Aight, DLed build 0.34 about 10 days ago and holy heck that was longer than expected ._. (Last I knew of Tai's route was day 8, so about... 100+ days ago idk)

Okay so day 5 is the route choosing day, which ended up being about an hour long w/Ky side.
Day 6 being 30 minutes, 7 being 40(w/o ky side/scene), 8 is 40(w/Ax side), Day 9 about 70-80 (I was eating and BOY now I know what pasta feels like going out of my nose), day 10 about 50 minutes.
(Those mentioned above were the short days totalling up to... about 300 minutes)
Day 11 took about over 2 hours, day 12 almost 2 hours, day 13 almost 2 hours, day 14 over THREE hours wow, day 15 almost 3 hours, day 16 was the longest by far ranging about 4 and a half hours(I'm uncertain about this but whatever) and day 17 taking only 100 minutes as it has a cliffhanger( Xevvy why ).
A total of about 1300+ minutes or 20+ hours on Tai's route. (Sure weren't kidding on that word count being longer than a harry potter book.. I blame the lengthened word count on Tai's manner of speech :V) Numbers aside, it sure was an INTENSE emotional roller coaster. Story well-written leaving almost no little detail behind and seems like the novel's improved with more characters and effects(tho quite a bit laggy given my low-end device).
Calling it "great" would be a colossal understatement, you've done well and may your hard work be rewarded in the nearing future ^ w^
Some additional stuff: Aight so we know Diego has a drinking problem but it was never mentioned in Tai's route that Diego was drinking nor were there any signs of intoxication upon either coming home or going to work but maybe he was, just not mentioned..
